Instruction Manual:
1) Lay poly strap under item to be strapped, place strapping tool on top of item to be strapped. Lever/crank side must be on side of item with uncut end of strap. Tool must be opened to maximum length. (starting at 0:05 of video)
2) Loop cut end of strap from below and around to top of item and thread through spring-loaded clamp to secure. 4 to 6″ of strap must extend past clamp. (0:27)
3) Sleeve 1 or 2 metal cuffs onto cut end of strap. For safety, sleeve cuffs overlapping side facing item. (0:34)
4) Loop uncut end of strap around item and thread through lever-engaged clamp to secure (0:42).
5) Thread uncut end of strap through spring-loaded shear to trim (0:51).
6) Thread newly cut end of strap through metal cuff(s). (0:54)
7) Crank lever to tighten strap to desired tension. (1:01)
8) Crimp cuffs with crimper. (1:19. unlike shown in video, for best results, keep strap ends aligned by placing under or over tool rather than to each side)
9) Trim strap further if desired. (not shown)
9) Disengage tool by disengaging strap clamps (1:30).
10) Repeat as necessary according to item weight, size, and shape. Additional parallel or intersecting straps may be necessary.
